Citrine-colored wine, very elegant aroma typical of the grape variety with light tropical nuances. Very fresh in the mouth, with a pleasant, long and persistent finish.

REGION: Vinho Verde, Cávado sub-region
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: DOC Vinho Verde
YEAR: 2022
COLOR: White
GRAPE VARIETIES: Loureiro and traditional varieties
WINEMAKER: José Maria Machado

Produced mainly from the Loureiro grape variety (85%), in a blend with traditional grape varieties (15%), this wine is made from hand-picked grapes, guaranteeing the highest quality of the raw material.

After destemming and crushing, the grapes undergo a short period of skin maceration to enhance aromatic extraction. The tear must is separated from the press must and both are fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 14ºC, preserving freshness and varietal character.

After fermentation, the wine remains on its lees, with bâtonnage (bâtonnage) for a period that varies depending on the harvest. This process contributes to greater complexity, structure and texture. This is followed by a two-year aging process in the bottle, allowing for harmonious evolution and integration.

ALCOHOLIC CONTENT: 12,50%
TOTAL ACIDITY: 7,4 g/dm3 (tartaric acid)
VOLATILE ACIDITY: 0,31 g/dm3 (acetic acid)
PH: 3,07
TOTAL SUGARS: (glu.+frut.)< 1,5 g/dm3

APPEARANCE: It has a light straw-yellow color characteristic of wines with skin maceration.
AROMA: It presents aromatic intensity, freshness, and the youthful character traditionally associated with the Vinho Verde region. Its aroma features citrus notes of lime and lemon zest, but bottle aging adds an extra layer of complexity where candied orange peel is found. The profile is harmonious and elegant, combining vibrant acidity with depth and maturity.
PALATE: A wine of great volume and structure, with a creamy texture that balances its natural acidity. It demonstrates a refined balance between body and freshness, showing excellent evolution in the bottle.
PAIRING: Thanks to its complexity, pronounced structure and vibrant acidity, it pairs perfectly with traditional fish and seafood dishes. It also complements typical Minho specialties such as cod, roast rooster or chicken giblet rice.
